Lori Joyce began her entrepreneurial journey over 20 years ago as the Co-Founder of the world’s first cupcakes bakery. This led to the hit Gemini-award-winning reality show The Cupcake Girls—and then motherhood. Inspired by her second son’s love for strawberry ice cream, Lori set out to create a cleaner, better ice cream for him and everyone else. Today, she’s back to her roots and back on the farm in her hometown of Victoria, BC; building a brand from the ground up with Better Acres Ice Cream (formerly known as Betterwith).
